My good friend, Adam Taylor, was in town today, so we headed over to the gym at 6:30am and put in a great workout.
I normally train alone, but there are so many benefits of having a training partner:
- Someone to spot you on exercises
- Someone to help you push past your limits
- It keeps you on track and motivated! You’re less likely to miss a session!
- There’s an added benefit of having someone watch your form and point out the quirks you don’t even realize you have
This morning’s workout definitely helped me push past a plateau on ‘chest’, by utilizing forced reps and drop sets – and having someone force you to do ‘TWO MORE!!’ (nice one Adam! lol).
